🌸 About Miss-Vee Art Studio

A mother-son story of creativity, courage, and connection.

 Hi there! I’m Miss Verneuil but you can call me Miss-Vee!

I’m a single mom to my darling son, Geo, who is differently-abled  and the heart and inspiration behind Miss-Vee Art Studio.

I’m also a certified elementary teacher, a self-taught artist, and, honestly, a bit of an eclectic soul. I love learning, creating, organizing, and finding beauty in the simple things. Art has always been my getaway, my peaceful place  and over time, it’s become my purpose.

My son, my biggest fan, has encouraged me to share my love for art with others. He absolutely lights up when it’s painting time! Together, we’ve turned our shared passion into something bigger, a creative business that brings joy to others and builds a bright future for him.

 

💛 How It All Began

From Our Kitchen Table to a Creative Studio

 Like many journeys, ours began during a challenging time — the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those quiet months gave Geo and me a chance to play with paint, explore materials, and dream about what we could create together. But they also brought reflection. As a mom, I constantly think about my son’s future ; how he might sustain himself, find happiness, and be proud of his abilities.

A heartfelt conversation with Mrs. Savory, one of Geo’s teachers, became the turning point. Her encouragement and the support of the Lady Gordon Opportunity Centre, gave me the push I needed to take a leap of faith.

So, we started Miss-Vee Art Studio , an online art and design business where we sell original paintings, printable art, greeting cards, planners, coloring books, and other creative products that bring organization, color, and joy to everyday life.

What began as a small home project has blossomed into a growing mother-son venture rooted in love, hope, and creativity.
