In my piece, Crossing Paths on Life's Journey, I wanted to capture a visual metaphor for the connection, impermanence, and growth we experience in our everyday lives. Painted in acrylic on stretched canvas, this artwork features two sea turtles coming together beneath a shimmering ocean surface. Rays of sunlight pierce through the cresting waves, illuminating a vibrant world of colorful coral reefs and quiet sandy depths.   As you watch the two turtles meet in the open water, they share a brief, peaceful moment before continuing along their own separate ways. For me, this reflects how we move through life. We constantly cross paths with different people, and every single interaction carries purpose. I painted this to acknowledge that our time in this world isn't permanent. Because our time is fleeting, I choose to fully embrace and learn from every person who enters my life.   Even when those moments pass and life inevitably moves forward, the wisdom, warmth, and shared experiences remain with us, shaping who we become as we carry on with our own journeys.
