I did it! ...I did not think I would have gotten it done but the Theme was too tempting. The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College in collaboration with the OAS has put together a Visual Arts Competition in celebration of the Fifth Annual Inter-American Week for People of African Descent in the Americas. The Theme- Stories of Courage in the Americas: Resistance to Slavery and Unity Against Racism.
I almost did not submit! Why? I wanted to produce an Acrylic painting and my paints run out. I search all shops but I could not find white! ...but then... my trusty Crayola wax crayons, markers and pen came to the rescue!. This is the end result!
I call it: 'I am, because they were- RESILIENT!'

Come down to the Innovation Hub at S.A.L.C.C on Thursday 26th May, 2022 to  Friday 3rd  June, 2022 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm where I will be showcasing my artwork for the Visual Arts Exhibition hosted by the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College and OAS St Lucia".
