Miss Vee, whose full name is Sadia Wendy Verneuil, is the heart and soul behind Miss-Vee Art Studio. She's a single mom to her wonderful son, Geo, who is differently-abled. Miss Vee wears many hats: she's a certified elementary teacher, a self-taught artist, and an incredibly eclectic and joyful person who loves bringing a touch of organization to her life.

Her love for art has always been her escape, and she's passed that love on to Geo, who absolutely lights up when it's painting time. The pandemic gave them the chance to spend more time together, exploring their creativity and eventually starting a business.

Miss Vee's journey into entrepreneurship was driven by her concern for Geo's future. She wanted to create opportunities for him to sustain himself, given the challenges of finding employment for someone with special needs. With encouragement from Geo's teacher, Mrs. Savory, and the supportive community at the Lady Gordon Opportunity Center, Miss Vee launched an online store selling printable and original art.

Their shop is filled with items that reflect their joy and creativity—planners for moms, vision board templates, morning and bedtime routine charts, wall decor, original art pieces, and coloring books. Each product is made with love and care, bringing a bit of their happiness to others.

In her mission to give back to the community, Miss Vee also came up with Geo's Adventure: Good Deed Project. This initiative is dedicated to supporting marginalized youth, particularly those with special needs in Saint Lucia. A highlight of this project is Geo's Summer Fun Adventure Camp, a free summer camp for students with special needs. Launched in 2023, this camp is a collaborative effort with the Lady Gordon Opportunity Centre. It provides these young individuals with enriching experiences, empowering them with knowledge about Saint Lucia and creating opportunities for future employment in the hospitality sector.

Miss Vee's dedication to her son, her art, and her mission to give back shines through in everything she does. Miss-Vee Art Studio isn't just a business; it's a heartfelt venture that ensures a bright and sustainable future for Geo while spreading joy and inspiration to everyone who supports them.
